Neousys Technology’s NRU-51V+ emerges as a groundbreaking solution in the realm of autonomous vehicles and teleoperation, leveraging the robust NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX or Xavier™ NX SOM. With JetPack 5.1.1 integration, this rugged sensor hub ensures consistent performance in extreme temperatures, ranging from -25°C to 60°C, without the need for a fan.

The NRU-51V+ is particularly adept at handling complex visual tasks, supporting up to four GMSL2 automotive cameras. These cameras, connected via FAKRA Z connectors, boast features like IP67 waterproofing, high dynamic range (HDR), and auto white balance, making them ideal for diverse lighting conditions. The device’s unique synchronization mechanism allows for near-simultaneous image capture from all cameras, crucial for precision in applications like Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous navigation.

Beyond its camera capabilities, the NRU-51V+ offers a wealth of connectivity options. It includes a 10Gb Ethernet port, two mini-PCIe sockets for various modules, and an M.2 socket for 4G/5G communication. This versatility extends to its isolated CAN 2.0 and configurable RS232/422/485 port, along with GPS PPS input.

Powered by NVIDIA’s efficient Jetson Orin NX™ SOM, the NRU-51V+ delivers an impressive 100 TOPS inference performance within a 25W power envelope. This allows for real-time object detection and region-of-interest (ROI) processing directly on the unit. For teleoperation, its H.264/265 video codec efficiently streams live footage from the GMSL2 cameras over 5G networks, minimizing latency.

In essence, the NRU-51V+ is more than just an edge AI computer. It’s a versatile, high-performance sensor hub and perception unit, essential for ADAS, autonomous robots, and teleoperated vehicles, combining advanced vision capabilities and multiple I/O interfaces for comprehensive connectivity and control.
