Introducing ICP DAS PET-2217, a cutting-edge PoE Ethernet I/O Module offering either 8 differential or 16 single-ended analog inputs. This device ensures accurate readings and boasts high overvoltage protection of up to 120 VDC and overcurrent protection of up to 50 mA at 110 VDC/VAC. Voltage and current input can be selected conveniently via a DIP switch.

The PET-2217 stands out with its flexible sampling rate, which can be set to either fast mode (200Hz) or normal mode (20Hz), perfect for recording voltage and current information. The device also features per-channel open wire detection for 4 to 20 mA input. Enhanced safety features include 4 kV ESD/EFT protection, 2 kV surge protection, and 3000 VDC intra-module isolation.

This versatile module supports the MQTT protocol, acting as both a message publisher and subscriber. This facilitates real-time I/O status updates, with an automatic reconnection mechanism and Keep-Alive Interval system ensuring uninterrupted connectivity with the MQTT Broker server.

The PET-2217 also supports the SNMP V2c specification, transmitting module and I/O information to SNMP network management equipment or software. This feature enables real-time monitoring of the PET-2217 status, with a Trap function for I/O status change or module reboot alerts.
