ICP Electronics Australia is proud to introduce ICP DAS I-2533T-FD. ICP DAS introduces the I-2533T-FD, a revolutionary CAN/CAN FD to multi-mode fiber bridge that facilitates seamless integration between two CAN bus systems via fiber optic transmission. Specially engineered to convert electrical CAN/CAN FD bus signals into fiber optic cables, the I-2533T-FD addresses the challenges associated with distance limitations and communication between CAN/CAN FD and fiber mediums.
Among the notable features, the I-2533T-FD ensures that different baud rates do not affect the transmission distance of the CAN bus system. This attribute allows for an extended total working distance of the CAN/CAN FD bus. Additionally, the device guarantees that a bus error in one CAN/CAN FD network will not impede the operation of another, and networks with different baud rates can communicate with each other, offering unprecedented flexibility.
Compliant with ISO 11898-2, CAN 2.0 A/B, and CAN FD specifications, the I-2533T-FD supports CAN FD bit rates from 100 kbps to 10,000 kbps and CAN bit rates from 10 kbps to 1,000 kbps. Additional features include fiber broken line detection, CAN Bus message filtering, basic message routing through Group ID settings, and a built-in switchable 120-ohm terminal resistor.
This versatile bridge is ideal for applications such as control systems, building automation, factory automation, and distributed data acquisition, making it an invaluable asset for modern industrial environments.
