ICP Electronics Australia is proud to introduce iEi’s HYPER-AL. The innovation landscape of edge computing is fast evolving, and IEI’s HYPER-AL is making waves. This powerful Single Board Computer (SBC) is engineered in the ultra-compact 2.5″ Pico-ITX form factor (100 x 72 mm), making it perfect for space-conscious applications.
Central to its performance is the Intel® Celeron® N3350 processor (Apollo Lake), a successor to the Braswell family. Clocking at a typical 1.1GHz and capable of surging to 2.4GHz in burst mode, this processor offers a noteworthy 1.2x improvement in CPU performance. Thanks to the state-of-the-art 14nm technology process, the N3350 eclipses its predecessor, the Intel® Celeron® N3010.
Memory has also seen an upgrade with DDR3L supporting up to 1866 MHz, a leap from Braswell’s 1600 MHz.
But it’s not just about raw processing power. The HYPER-AL flaunts exceptional graphics capabilities, courtesy of Intel® Gen9 graphics engine. With support for up to 4K decode and encode capabilities, this SBC is estimated to deliver thrice the graphics performance compared to the Bay Trail.
Users can expect enhanced 3D and Full-HD media performance, with features such as up to 15 simultaneous 1080p30 decode streams. Furthermore, the HYPER-AL supports dual independent displays, sporting LVDS and HDMI™ 1.4b. The latter can push resolutions up to 3840×2160 at 30Hz, ensuring vibrant and detailed visuals.
In essence, the HYPER-AL is not just a compact powerhouse but a testament to IEI’s commitment to drive the edge computing frontier.
