ICP Electronics Australia is proud to introduce ICP DAS PET-2228. The ICP DAS PET-2228 is a PoE Ethernet I/O Module with 8-channel analog outputs, offering an advanced solution for various industrial applications. It supports a wide array of analog output options including 0 to 5 V, +/-5 V, 0 to 10 V, +/-10 V, 4 to 20 mA, and 0 to 20 mA.
One of its standout features is the 2-port Ethernet switch, allowing for daisy-chain wiring. This permits greater flexibility in device placement, streamlines installation, and reduces costs. Robust protection mechanisms including 4 kV ESD, 4 kV EFT, 2 kV surge, and 3000 VDC I/O isolation minimize noise disturbances, enhancing reliability in harsh environments.
The built-in web server supports Modbus TCP/UDP, MQTT, and SNMP V2c Protocols, fostering seamless communication within the system. The support for MQTT ensures that PET-2228 can publish and subscribe to messages via the MQTT Broker. Additionally, it includes an automatic reconnection mechanism and a Keep-Alive Interval function to maintain uninterrupted communication with the broker.
The PET-2228 also supports the SNMP V2c specification, enabling real-time monitoring and enhanced control of the module. When combined with the dual watchdog, I/O pair connection, and 4 or 8-channel AO options (ET-2224/PET-2224 or ET-2228/PET-2228), the PET-2228 emerges as a versatile, cost-effective, and highly reliable solution for a wide range of industrial applications. Its robust features make it well-suited for settings where precision, flexibility, and robust protection are paramount.
