iSN-301H. The iSN-301H from ICP DAS is a sophisticated Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensing module designed for precise, non-contact distance measurement. This versatile device can measure distances ranging from 5 cm to 4 meters, making it ideal for a variety of applications. With a typical Full Field-of-View (FoV) of 27 degrees, the iSN-301H allows for accurate distance detection within a specified range.
One of the standout features of the iSN-301H is its programmable Region-of-Interest (ROI) size and position, enabling customization of the sensor’s FoV to meet specific requirements. This flexibility ensures optimal performance in diverse environments. The module supports both DCON and Modbus RTU protocols, facilitating seamless integration with host controllers in an RS-485 network.
In terms of functionality, the iSN-301H can trigger an LED alarm if the measured distance falls outside predefined thresholds, prompting the controller to activate the output relay. This feature is particularly useful for automated systems requiring immediate responses to distance variations.
The iSN-301H is suitable for various applications, including lighting and exhaust fans in toilets and restrooms, common lighting in staircases, parking areas, garden lighting, changing rooms in shops, corridor lighting, sanitary environments, and smart buildings for people detection. Its robust performance, regardless of target reflectance, ensures reliable operation in all scenarios.
