The ICP DAS I-9093 is a versatile 3-axis high-speed encoder module designed for precision position measurement and control applications. Featuring a 32-bit encoder counter, the I-9093 supports high-speed counting with a maximum counting rate of 6 MHz. It accepts A, B, and C differential encoder inputs and offers various encoder modes, including quadrant, CW/CCW, and PULSE/DIR. This flexibility allows for seamless integration with different types of encoders and motor control systems.

One notable feature of the I-9093 is its compare trigger output function. It generates a periodic trigger signal when the motor reaches a specified position known as a breakpoint. This trigger signal can be used to activate external devices, such as a camera shutter for image capture in optical inspection line-scan systems or other position-dependent operations. The hardware circuit handles all position compare and trigger pulse output operations, eliminating the need for software calculations and enhancing system efficiency.

The I-9093 is designed to withstand demanding environments, with 4 kV ESD protection and a wide operating temperature range of -25 to +75°C. This ensures reliable operation in industrial settings and critical applications.

The module finds application in various fields, including data acquisition operations, optical inspection line-scan systems, image capture, and position measurement.
