A prominent feature of the EC2-P16C16 is its on-the-fly processing using the EtherCAT protocol. This ensures real-time communication and swift data exchange. The module boasts two RJ-45 bus interfaces, and impressively, the maximum distance between stations can extend up to 100m, courtesy of the 100BASE-TX.
