ICP Electronics has announced the release of the Intel® Atom™ Afolux PPC portfolio, which includes the screen sizes of 7", 8.4", 10.4", and 12.1". The 45nm Intel® Atom™ processor N270 has a 1.60GHz clock speed and a 533MHz FSB with a 512KB L2 cache. The Intel® Atom™ Afolux platforms are sophisticated, low-power Panel PCs that provide essential features for a low-cost, high-throughput system. The series is also integrated with Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 900 graphic core, enabling for a much better graphic playing ability. The Intel® Atom™ Afolux PPCs are a Fanless design, meaning that they are more reliable, have reduced maintenance costs, and have an extended operational life as they are not exposed to overheating problems due to fan failures.
